Police are appealing for information after the discovery of a body on a beach in Iluka.
Coffs Harbour Police District officers said they were called to Ten Mile Beach in Iluka around 10am Saturday in response to the body’s discovery.
Attending police said the body was that of a 32-year-old woman but that the circumstances surrounding her death were unclear.
They were asking anyone who may have been in the Shark Bay area to contact Coffs Harbour Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Investigations were continuing, with police to prepare a report for the Coroner.
