STEER – the youth safe driving course
STEER – the youth safe driving course is coordinated by a father of four children, Phil Preston, who is very aware of the need to provide safer transport options for young people. Phil says that youth need to get around the Shire cheaply and easily and parents want their children to get from place to place safely.
STEER helps learners to become safer drivers and get 20 hours log book credit.
Phil enjoys being part of the Mullum Community because of its sense of inclusiveness and encouragement. 'As a result', he says, 'the main street is a kaleidoscope of colourful characters, doing different things and supporting community connection.'
