The Mullum Shop Local campaign is open to all members of the community. Simply shop at any of the participating stores and you will receive an entry form. Fill out your entry form, attach your receipt or have the store stamp your entry form, and drop the entry form at one of the boxes located at the Newsagency, Stewart’s Menswear or Santos. Santos Organics

Kym Masterson opened Japunumop on May 8, 2013 and as she says, Janpunumop has become, 'the busy person's answer for great coffee, ready to go gourmet filled breads, pies, soups, salads, cakes and sweets – mostly made on site.' Customers often tell her that the space has a great vibe, a relaxed feel, and that the coffee and food are sensational.

Mullumbimby Comprehensive Health Centre
Mullumbimby Comprehensive Health Centre offers an integrated health service with both General Practice and a variety of allied health services including osteopathy, acupuncture and Kahuna Bodywork. People come to the health centre for therapeutic bodywork, as well as to see their local GP for a consultation or health check. All of their GPs have special interest areas ranging from acupuncture to skin health.
Punch and Daisy
Punch and Daisy is a local café offering simple, fresh, local food and excellent, complex local coffee. Currently open Monday to Friday, they are in the process of upgrading their current business trading licence to also open in the evenings and on weekends, and offer simple, fresh tapas and wine by the glass.

Chincogan Store
The Chincogan Store is the corner store with a difference, selling everything from buns and burgers to vegetarian, gluten free, espresso coffee and cakes. For the last 10 years, the quick and friendly staff have been swapping slightly crazy, inviting smiles with the happy fun people (their customers) that they call the most caring community anywhere.
Izakaya Yu
Izakaya Yu is a Japanese restaurant that opened in September 2012. Izakaya is the Japanese equivalent of tapas, and the Yu in Izakaya Yu is Japanese for pleasure – Takafumi and Kane, founding chefs from O-Sushi restaurant, take pleasure in the fact that they now own a well-patronised and loved local eatery in a town where they say, ‘Everyone is friendly and peaceful’.

The Mullum Music Festival
This year they welcome many talented first-time artists, new performance spaces and initiatives. There will be comedy and DJs in the lineup, plus Harry James Angus (Cat Empire) has programmed his own venue, The Village Vanguard, complete with cocktail bar, handpicked musicians and a real piano. The Village Vanguard will end every evening with Harry and his band performing a 2 hour set called the Jazz Party.

STEER is coordinated by a father of four children, Phil Preston, who is very aware of the need to provide safer transport options for young people. Phil says that youth need to get around the Shire cheaply and easily and parents want their children to get from place to place safely.
