Since the first SlutWalk in Toronto in April last year, groups around the world have taken to the streets of their local towns and cities wearing – what they want. In Byron Bay, people walked in Saturday’s inaugural event, organisers chose a red-and-black theme. But the message was the same: reclaim the name and reject the shame.
