The inaugural Living Earth Festival at Mullumbimby on the weekend was a huge success with several thousand people, young and old, turning out at the town’s community gardens for a taste of all things produced by the earth and community in a sustainable way.

Great day. Thanks to the organisers. Terrific video
Simply spectacular! Everyone involved has the right to feel very proud of the event. Thank you for a great day.
Yep Awesome. The fact so many people have showed up clearly shows we need and want this. PERFECT
The heart of our community was beating loud and clear! Thank you for loving our earth and ourselves! More please!
Oh yeah. Well said Sarah Jane Potts, what a fabulous community day incorporating whats really important in our community , not only on a small Mullumbimby scale, but world wide. A highly successful day I think, in uniting our wide community, spreading environmental message and creating an open gate to the Mullumbimby Community Gardens.
Such a massive shout out to all the folk involved in this glorious day .Cheers Debbie and Tim your spirit lives in our garden here in Nelson NZ.

Thanks Mullumbimby!! You just keep getting better and better.
The Living Earth Festival, a prime example of what makes Mullum such a great community to in.
An outstanding job in preparing, organising and running this event which I’m sure nobody predicted would attract the numbers it did and be so hugely successful. So congratulations Janette, Sara-Jane, Jonno and all the vollunteers and members of the gardens, THANKS.
Sarah-jane Potts here, Living Earth Festival Director – thank-you for coming on Sunday and the making the day together a joyful affirmation for a bright future, and a dazzling example of a loving, engaged community in action!
BTW afterwards there was almost zero rubbish …and after over 6,000 people had been through the entire 5 acres of gardens the only casualty was one squashed strawberry!
We love our community!
Thank-you to the large FESTIVAL TEAM of visionary and committed people – volunteers – who worked together with so much passion and skill to create this Gathering Of the Tribes in honour of this Living Earth!
Very cool!!!
