I’ve always agreed with Tim Bowden’s description of NRL as Thugby. A mere seven week suspension for tragically breaking someone’s neck, leaving them in all probability a quadriplegic from the age of 22, has reinforced my perceptions of a yobbos’ game. State of Origin – who cares?
