A Nimbin man has been remanded in custody after police have seized drug paraphernalia, ammunition and a firearm during a raid on his home.
About 9.30am Tuesday (August 4), 54-year-old Marcus Garcia was arrested at a property on Bishops Creek Road,where police allegedly went to speak to him in relation to a number of outstanding warrants.
A short struggle took place before during was arrest.
While at the property investigators allegedly seized a number of items including a loaded firearm, alleged stolen property and drug paraphernalia.
Mr Garcia was taken to Lismore Police Station where he was charged in relation to three outstanding warrants as well as possess drug manufacturing apparatus to make prohibited drug, possess unlicensed pistol, posses loaded firearm to endanger life, not keep firearm safe, goods in custody and resist arrest.
He appeared in Lismore Local Court on Wednesday (August 5) where bail was formally refused.
