Just one game away from playing in the 2016 grand final, the Shores United Men’s 4th Division soccer team are peaking at the right time of the season.
After a gutsy 1–0 win against Richmond Rovers in Lismore on Saturday the New Brighton-based team takes on Ballina in this week’s semi final.
The team finished the regular season fifth on the ladder and have put in an amazing effort to not lose a game since the beginning of July, team supporter Michelle Begg said.
This is the first season they have played together as a team.
The Shores play Ballina in the semi final on Friday at 6.30pm at Saunders Oval Ballina.
