Sussan Ley has decided to pay us back for her trip to the Gold Coast to visit ‘stakeholders’ – code for supporters who facilitated her election or will profit from her policy decisions.
She ‘just happened’ to have a spare $800,000 (or an equivalent finance facility) to buy an apartment on a whim!
Neo liberal ideology has so infested our political system that its practitioners no longer recognise the difference between private and public interest. (The indoctrination starts in the privately influenced business/political science schools within our universities and ‘colleges’)
The finishing touch is applied when they become a Rhodes Scholar and travel to Oxford to be granted the Right to Rule.
Any profit that ends up in the pocket of those in power must be good for all of us. Right?
If this persists Australia’s economy and standard of living will end up looking like an African or central American nation.
