
The two husband-and-wife teams behind Quattro, Lennox Head’s stylish beachfront Italian restaurant, laid on a bit of a party for their customers, guests (and family!) this morning to celebrate the restaurant’s 10th birthday.
Although they were warned not go into business with friends, Jo said that the four of them have always worked really well together. ‘We are four very different people’, she said, ‘but we are all good at compromising. It just seems to really work for us.’
Since opening in October 2007 the restaurant has also established itself in the wedding and event catering market, and opened a catering arm called Olive and Luca, with a mobile wood-fired oven to serve up their award-winning pizzas based on a traditional Italian low-yeast, slow-rising recipe.
