Ash and Sara

The Rock & Roll Coffee Company is proud to present the second showcase in their Something About Songwriters series featuring very special guests, Ash Bell and Sara Tindley.

Sara and Ash are merged from two enduring independent musical careers. When former Starboard Cannons frontman Ashley Bell and well-known independent songwriter Sara Tindley considered forming a musical duo, their only criterion was that the project must be fun and beautiful. The delicate, moving, and thought-provoking songs performed by these two larrikins-at-heart delivers on both in spades – fun, beautiful, and truly moving.

The musical collaboration of these two friends was born out of a shared disillusion with the music ‘industry’ and a love of singing together, and has given rise to their debut EP Going Out Clothes, which has landed them on stages across Australia, with only guitar and banjo in hand.

The featured visual artist is the colourful and much-loved Zion Levy Stewart.

The Rock & Roll Crew are super amped for the long-awaited evening vibes with a sumptuous night-time menu and rocking bar.

Doors open 6pm Thursday September 29. Limited tickets available through the QR code in the paper. FB Something about Songwriters.

Support The Echo

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.
