Despite there being established agencies to receive and distribute food into Gaza, and despite the fact that these agencies have encouraged Greta and her minions to engage with these agencies to distribute aid, the good folk of the Tik Tok flotilla, seeking social media relevance instead, continue to pretend their efforts to breach Israel’s naval blockade are somehow helping the people of Gaza.
The Global Sumud Flotilla is sadly not a genuine attempt to distribute aid to needy people. It was reported previously that these boats had little or no aid left for the Gazans after it was all consumed by the passengers.
What was distributed were thousands of images on Instagram and TikTok videos.
It would have been so much more productive to spend that time and those resources working with people on the ground who are in the business of giving aid. Instead, the crew of the Instagram flotilla have spent their time and finite resources, grandstanding, virtue signalling and gathering ‘likes’ and ‘sad face’ emojis. So much for helping the Gazans.
