In response to your article on fecal incontinence (Echonetdaily, January 24) I thought I should share my experience.

About six months ago I hurt my foot, which caused me to limp for a week or so.

The limp caused a muscle strain in my groin, which was then followed by urinary incontinence.

Fortunately, or unfortunately, I have a lifetime of experience of how pinched nerves can create seemingly unrelated problems and I was sure that my sore foot has caused my incontinence.

So I embarked on a program of exercise and chiropractic treatment, which eliminated the incontinence in a matter of weeks.

I’m not suggesting that this regime will solve all urinary incontinence but it solved mine.
