What a fantastic day it was for like-minded people to share World Environment Day at Knox Park in Murwillumbah.
A great deal of thanks to the organizers of this event especially Ari Ehrlich of the Caldera Environment Centre who worked tirelessly before and after the event in assuring the festivities were a success.
‘Connecting People to Nature’, was the theme for World Environment Day 2017, imploring us to get outdoors and into nature, to appreciate its beauty and its importance, and to take forward the call to protect the Earth that we share.
A single consciousness was felt amongst the crowd whilst agreeing to keep up the efforts to protect our fragile environment.
