Police are asking for help in tracking down those responsible for stealing $70,000 worth of products from the Island Luxe shop at Bangalow.

The shop was broken into between 8.15pm on 23 March and 9.30am on 24 March.

During the break-in, 14 leather jackets and 18 floor rugs were stolen.

‘These items are collectively valued at approximately $70,000′, police say.

‘If you see such jackets or floor rugs being sold online or by other means and you have a suspicion that the items might be similar to those that were stolen, please contact Senior Constable Peta Erickson at Bangalow police station on 6687 1404 or Sergeant Troy Hamilton at Tweed Heads Police Station on 07 5536 0999.

  1. Bloody hell. That’s an average price of over $2000. per item. Those are some expensive rugs. Wherever those rugs are produced, I’m moving to and taking up rug farming.
