Many people are giving up hope, saying we have left action against emissions too late.
I reckon there is still a chance of stopping catastrophic climate change if WE ALL go to zero emissions fast enough and implement lots of drawdown.org and maybe do stratospheric sulphur dioxide in the arctic too to stop the permafrost melt.
Anyway it would be immoral not to try.
