Tim Harrington, Lennox Head

Phillip Frazer describing PM Morrison as ‘an average to dim bloke etc’ (6 January, 2021) speaks volumes for Phillip himself as he would have great difficulty in scraping into the lower divisions of that description.

Makes you think how lucky Australia was at the last Federal election when Jane Caro’s Truculent Turds saved the country from the likes of the Frasers and Caros bone headed selections.

Phillip, if you are aiming to fill those two left shoes of Mungo, you need to smarten up on your language skills.

Support The Echo

Keeping the community together and the community voice loud and clear is what The Echo is about. More than ever we need your help to keep this voice alive and thriving in the community.

Like all businesses we are struggling to keep food on the table of all our local and hard working journalists, artists, sales, delivery and drudges who keep the news coming out to you both in the newspaper and online. If you can spare a few dollars a week – or maybe more – we would appreciate all the support you are able to give to keep the voice of independent, local journalism alive.

  1. Yer Tim I guess our correspondent may have underestimated the skill and intelligence required to constantly lie, deceive, obfuscate and spin, and the mental discipline required to maintain a straight face while sticking to the think-tank talking points at the expense of commonsense and facts when giving long-winded hypocritical sermons instead of answering questions.
Acknowledging any of those doesn’t mean he’s intelligent, even actors learn their lines and dogs can be trained.
Given the choice of commentary from Philip Frazer or Scotty from Marketing I know who make more sense and who I’d rather read. After all, it’s just a world of ad campaigns for Scummo and he knows he only has to sell it to the dumbest and greediest which give him his slim majority

  2. Yes Tim Harro ! Expect anything less from
This bloke .. decades in NY with the virtue signaling capitalists including the stupid Governor and Mayor both absolute socialist Marxists
who turned down Trumps help with a ship
Fully equipped to save the elderly in NY
But was turned away , why ? Well could accept
Trumps aid even to save thousands from this pandemic, would make Trump look like a good
    President. the complete Opposite occurred
The Governor signed executive orders to send the elderly To nursing homes during the peak of the
Pandemic and the rest is history. NY has the worst
Death rate in the States …expect anything different
From the democrats who incidentally have an
Appalling human rights record.. as for our elected
Prime Minister who has record margins as the preferred Prime Minister . as Previously mentioned
The far left just can’t come to terms with the coalition winning the last election..it was no different in America and you call that democracy
Stefanie? By the way Trump did win the Election
As voted by the people’s. He lost the college
    Votes !!

    • Barrow, the claim that Trump won the election is the most ridiculous lie of the century, that was rightly treated with the contempt it deserved by the US Electoral Colleges, the majority of the US Congress & thrown out with contempt and the derision it deserved in all 63 failed court cases. In all credible media, and every sane, rational, logical or reasonable assessment it is agreed he lost both the popular vote (for the 2nd time running!) AND the Electoral College vote.

You see it’s based on arithmetic…. I’ll put it in simple terms for ease of understanding – higher numbers for one candidate means that candidate won, no matter how many times you say otherwise. As for your other nonsensical claim, it is obvious to everyone Trump’s attitude to the COVID pandemic, and how little he did to protect Americans from it.

Further, how can any observer watching from afar here in Byron Shire possibly know any better? To make that claim is just as absurd and moronic as all the Trumpist’s pathetic conspiracies. If you’re that convinced in the certainty of your opinions in the total absence of any proof you’re going to need mountains therapy to help discern your gullibility from reality!

  3. I asked next door’s dog what she thought of M. Clarke’s answer to Tim.
Reply… grow. Good dog I say. Intelligent dog she is.

  4. To M. Clarke, wow I thought that I was pretty severe on climate change deniers and Trump supporters for the gross stupidity, probably mixed with infantile arrogance that they display, but you really nailed that, an excellent assessment, but good luck with having any success, they just don’t seem capable of rational thought.

  5. “Love truth but pardon error ” Mr Duncan !
Oh yes iam capable of rational thought
Keith , just love to call out the leftist double standards and blatant hypocrisy.. you are at the
Top the pile . please do not ever leave the labor party, being in opposition is and has become a
way of life . If you can’t beat them , join them .
Oh by the way was listening to ABC radio
This week , interviewed a NY professor no surprise
He mentioned Trump supporters and Fox not accepting the umpires decision, and this was a shot against democracy ! Really ? So CNN and others embraced Trumps Presidency keith ?
Well of course not . Not for one minute did the left
accept Trump as president.. one example
Sarah Ferguson sensationally claimed The story
Of the “century ” a bold claim ? Russian Collusion
interference in the American election, Trump
by default.. for almost 3 year Keith ABC
Journalists circumnavigated the Globe to implicate that Trump was involved.. millions of taxpayer’s money wasted !! The findings ? Matt Bevan
    Was asked
at a inquiry.. no evidence at all was found !!
    Accepting the umpires decision ?
    double standards?
    Hypocrisy?
Yes we are more than capable of rational thought Keith.. !!
