October 24:  The Champion of Club Champions Triples final was conducted at Brunswick Heads BC. between Teams from Condong and Brunswick Heads.  Congratulations to Gary Randell (S), Matt Masoula and Denis Turnbull who overcame the Condong chaps to take home the title.  October 26: The Champion of Club Champions Fours final was played at Cabarita Beach B.C. between teams from Brunswick Heads and Kingscliff.  Congratulations to Kingscliff’s Peter Murphy (S), Trevor Hills, Ross Julius and Vic Lewis who defeated Brunswick Head’s Michael Petrou (S), Matt Masoula, Phil Brassington and Jeff Winter to home home winners

Pottsville bowlers Marie Comerford and George Moore are certainly proving they are a force to content with these days.  Following other recent successes on the greens, these ladies, accompanied by Ballina girls, Sandra Ward and Georgie Moore, scooped the pool at the Ballina W.B.C. Open Versatile Fours this week.  The team was the only one to score a 100% victory having won all five games on the programme (singles, 2 x pairs, triples and fours) with a margin of 100. Second and third place getters came in with 4 wins.  How good is that! Congratulations ladies, Keep up the good work.

The singles competition final was a spectacle!  Mark Smith was down 4-10 in the fifth set against Max Schleuter but came back to win that set 17-15 and the match 3-2.  In the doubles competition Peter McKenzie & Sunny Gibb defeated Pele Safra & Matt Ostello 3-1 and Mark Smith & Chris Strybos 3-0 to win the round-robin.
