Police allege they seized knuckle dusters and a pistol, as well as gun parts, ammunition, ecstasy and prescription drugs during a raid on a property in North Lismore yesterday.
About 9am Wednesday (September 7), police raided a house on Pine Street, North Lismore.
During the raid, police allege they seized a .22 calibre pistol, ammunition, firearm parts, knuckle dusters; illicit drugs suspected to be MDMA (‘ecstasy’) and prescribed restricted drugs.
A 40-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Lismore Police Station.
He was charged with possessing a pistol, ammunition without a licence and firearm parts without authority, as well as possessing a prohibited a weapon, prohibited drugs, prescribed restricted substances and goods in custody.
The man was refused bail to appear before Lismore Local Court today (Thursday September 8).
