The service will operate out of the library – located on the corner of Lawson & Middleton Streets Byron Bay – from 9:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday.

It will offer selected services to customers such as non-cash related banking enquiries until the normal branch location is open again.

The bank says it is also providing emergency assistance to customers impacted by the floods including all individual and business customers in Byron Bay.

‘We have a range of options available to customers from customised payment arrangements for loans to expediting insurance claims,’ a spokesperson said.

The bank’s Byron Bay branch suffered significant inundation during the second wave of flooding on March 30, along with a number of other businesses on Jonson St.
